How much does Samsung's Galaxy Tab S3 cost? as much as iPad Pro

Samsung recently debuted its beautiful, all-glass iPad Pro competitor, the Galaxy Tab S3, without announcing price or availability. However, it looks like Best Buy just prematurely spilled the beans.

A listing on Best Buy's website shows the tablet priced at $600, the same starting price as the Apple iPad Pro 9.7.

It's no surprise that the Galaxy Tab S3 tablet could cost as much as the high-end iPad Pro. With an incredibly sleek design, promisingly speedy specs, unique HDR-ready screen and dynamic speakers,In the past couple of weeks, rumors were rife that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 would retail for $800 when its ships out to different regions. That price excludes the keyboard accessory which would make its value higher than it already is.We got our first look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 at the MWC 2017 last month. While the Korean tech giant did reveal how much its iPad Pro competitor will cost in Europe, we’re still very much in the dark about its pricing and availability in the United States.

In the past couple of weeks, rumors were rife that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 would retail for $800 when its ships out to different regions. That price excludes the keyboard accessory which would make its value higher than it already is.However, things are apparently different than what we initially thought. Retailer Best Buy recently listed Tab S2’s successor on its online store at a much cheaper price of $599.99. The price is that of the 32GB, Wi-Fi variant and already includes the S Pen stylus. Those who want Samsung’s tablet case can purchase it separately for $129.99, bringing the price for the full package up to about $730.

What does that $600 get you?
According to SlashGear, the tab comes with a 9.7-inch AMOLED display running at a resolution of 2048 x 1536, alongside a Qualcomm APQ8096 CPU (Snapdragon 820) and 4GB of RAM. It’s the first tablet from Samsung to feature a glass and metal finish, as well as quad-stereo speakers adjusted by AKG by HARMAN for advanced audio visual experience.

Other specs include a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP secondary snapper, and a 6000mAh battery with fast charging support. The device comes preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat.

Unfortunately, the price for the LTE variant of Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 remains under wraps. For what it’s worth, Apple prices its LTE-capable 32GB iPad Pro at $729.99. Hopefully, Samsung’s can come in under that price. As for its launch, Best Buy’s listing is missing a release date and merely states that the tablet is “coming soon.”
